So my grammy went out to go for an interview, far, far away from home. I went with her, hoping that, when we were through, I could play on the inet.
An interview would naturally take an hour or so right?
Well, I can tell you that I am NEVER, going to drive. EVER.
Why?
Well, we were sitting in the car, and waiting, when my grama said, "Maybe we should wait inside." I'm glad we did, because ten minutes or less afterward, a young girl in a grey car smashed right into our parked car! The back, and side-left windows popped out, and shattered. The muffler fell off, as did the bumper, and to make matters worse, our tiny white car was shoved underneath a big van that belonged to none other then the woman who was going to interview my grammmy.
We screamed, she ran, and the poor girl was sobbing. She had obviously never been in an accident before.
Luckily no one was hurt, but the car, was totalled.
We had no way to get home.
It took the police a while to clean up the mess, and take the girl home. Now we had to talk to the insurance people. They took 3 hours to figure this stuff out.
Later, my mom had to take a leave from work, she got a warning too, (jerks), and pick us up. After we left the car in the hands of the interviewer lady, it took them another 4 hours to tow the car away.
Talk about unreliable.
My grama had to call them constantly to make sure everything was going right.

But the good news?
We all have our lives and our health. My grama has an even better chance of getting a job because of how calm and collective she was, and, she got even more, then what she paid, for the car in the first place!
Everything she does now, has us saving money, and getting to where we need to go. Bills are paid and outta the way, and now we can really be worry-free this holiday season.
And she gets to keep the rental car until she gets her plates back for her newly bought car. And 500 dollars ain't so bad for it either.

So, I suppose luck comes in many forms huh?
But at what cost? *bricked*
